| This 180,000 square foot community center is located in a mixed Asian/Hispanic/African- American area on the southwest side of Houston. RPD invested nine months into negotiating the purchase with a local real estate investor that had owned the center for many years. When RPD acquired the center, it was tenanted by Ross, Dollar Tree and 15 smaller, local retailers. After terminating and relocating most of the smaller tenants, RPD redeveloped the center, leasing 30,000 square feet to Best Buy and 30,000 square feet to Marshall’s. RPD intends to hold the center for several years. |
